Matcha everywhere. These food crazes are wild to me. They hit, suddenly they are everywhere, then they just fade into the background and remain at a sensible level. I love matcha lattes and I have since I first tried one several years ago, before that my go to was just other types of tea (I don’t like coffee). I hate that they keep making it into trendy foods like this gross shit and creating a shortage for people who just genuinely enjoyed *drinking* it *normally* – it’s getting so expensive 🥲

People try to make edible stuff out of matcha all the time where I live and it’s always nasty. There was even a guy that got kicked out of masterchef Brazil while trying it and failing miserably.
